Statistical methods in HIV/AIDS research
Statistical models for monitoring and analyzing durg adherence pattern for subjects participating in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) studies. By combining data from several measurement instruments, we aim to improve understanding and to find correlates of adherence pattern.
Transmission models for infectious disease epidemiology
Statistical and mathematical transmission models for current/emerging infectious disease outbreaks. These models help us understand disease natural history, predict potential future outcome and evaluate efficacy of prevention strategies
Methods for missing data
Bayesian data augmentation, methods of imputation, model selection when missing data is present
