Development of genetic statistical methodologies, including phylogenetic tree reconstruction from genetic sequences

Association of genetic markers with diseases

Prediction of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles from other polymorphisms such as single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)

Host genetics association with human immunity, especially immune-related diseases such as HIV infection and progression
