Every person’s cancer is unique. So is their experience. If you or a loved one has experienced cancer, you may wish to take action — to express empowerment, advocacy, sympathy, solidarity, or hope. If you have experienced exceptional care from a Fred Hutch doctor or nurse, you may want to give to express gratitude. Making a gift or fundraising in honor of your care team is a powerful way to get involved.

Make a Gift to Fred Hutch

When you donate to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, you partner with your care team and with Fred Hutch’s more than 5,700 staff to speed up urgently needed advances in research and care — now, and for those who may experience cancer in the future. After your donation is made, we will notify your honoree with a beautiful personalized tribute card.

Fundraise for Fred Hutch

Setting up a personal fundraiser is a way to activate your community to support cancer prevention, detection, treatment and care. When you fundraise, you can also designate a recipient, such as a Fred Hutch doctor, researcher, research area or program; the Fred Hutch Patient and Family Assistance Fund; our Palliative Care and Spiritual Health programs; or the Pete Gross and South Lake Union houses, which provide families with comfortable and convenient housing during treatment.

Your gift matters

No matter how you choose to give, your support will drive urgently needed research, treatment, and care; jumpstart breakthrough projects; and unlock important additional support from private and federal sources.

Other Ways to Take Action

There are many ways for you to make a difference. In addition to supporting research and care, we invite you to consider attending an educational event; touring a lab; volunteering at Obliteride, our annual bike ride and 5K walk and run; sharing your personal story; or including Fred Hutch in your estate plans.

However you choose to get involved, your contribution helps Fred Hutch improve lives. We are grateful for your support.

A clinician talks with a patient and Fred Hutch's Issaquah clinic

"When I was in treatment, people said, “How can I help?” So I set up a personal fundraiser for Fred Hutch. When people give, they’re supporting me — and the doctors who treated me — by fueling research that will help others now and in the future. It is meaningful and empowering.”
