The annual Shore Run/Walk, traditionally held the last weekend in June, moves up to an earlier date this year.
Sunday, June 13 is the new date—and there’s a new distance run to go along with it. While the 5K Run/Walk and Half-Mile Kids' Run have not changed, the former 6.7-mile run is now a 10K Run (6.2-mile course) from Ferdinand Park to Madison Park.
All courses hug the shore of Lake Washington and end with a “Party in the Park” featuring live music, food, awards, and drawings for prizes, including roundtrip air travel on Continental Airlines.
Proceeds benefit the Hutchinson Center's immunotherapy research.
All adult participants will receive a long-sleeve technical running shirt, which is lighter and more breathable than a cotton T-shirt. Each Kids' Run participant will receive a cotton T-shirt and prize.
Advance registration fees are $30 for adults, $20 for kids up to age 12, and $10 for the Kids' Run (for age 8 and younger). Center colleagues and friends are encouraged to sign up and fundraise as teams. To register, donate and learn more, visit www.fhcrc.org/shorerun.
Every dollar counts. Please support lifesaving research today.
