Hutchinson Center staff and faculty are invited to attend a private concert of original, sometimes zany songs about cancer Thursday, Sept. 24, 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Pelton Auditorium.
"Made Me Nuclear—A Musical Journey Through Cancer" features artist and cancer survivor Charlie Lustman performing his original songs chronicling the cancer experience with positivity, hope and humor—though his more poignant pieces (“Chemo Brain,” “Dr. O”) represent cancer’s difficult moments.
While in town, Lustman will also perform at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and at the Hutch School for patients and their families. The public can hear Lustman perform in Pelton at 7 p.m., Sept. 23 and 24. Lustman's free and family friendly concerts are thanks in part to a grant from the Solomon Dutka Fund.
