IHWG has added new wild-type and mutant HLA Class I and II transfectant cell lines from Dr. Hurley lab (Georgetown U).
The IHWG provides a comprehensive inventory of HLA reference genes to support worldwide research in immunogenetics.

Selected B-LCL and DNA from the IHWG Cell and DNA Bank inventory is available to all investigators. The core inventory consists of more than 1000 cell lines from the 10th, 12th and 13th IHWS, from HLA heterozygous and homozygous donors, from selected families, and from individuals of diverse population groups. Collectively, these cell lines represent more than 375 unique HLA-A, B, C, DRB1, DQA1, DQB1, DPA1 and DPB1 alleles.
The IHWG reference panels provide sets of alleles focusing on human population and MHC gene features. Each panel varies in number of samples, each containing 2ug of purified DNA.
