Dr. Yue “Lena” Yao’s research focuses on epidemiological studies, particularly related to environmental and pathogenic effects on human health. Her research involves establishing study cohorts of children, women, and environmentally and occupationally exposed populations. She specializes in using high-dimensional exposure, “-omics” and clinical outcomes data to infer the impact of exposures on the human immune system.
