We started the first symposium in 2014 in partnership with the Behavioral Outcomes Research Group. In 2017 we started awarding the Beti Thompson Community Trailblazer Award at this annual event. In 2018, the symposium officially became the “Pathways To Equity Symposium.”
This free event will be hosted in person on the Fred Hutch campus and streamed for those not able to attend in person. This year's theme will be "Achieving Indigenous Health Equity through Policy Systems Change". Please register to attend virtually or in person. We are honored to host our keynote speaker: Dr. Donald Warne, MD, MPH (Olgala Lakota)
