Mission Possible brought together a passionate community committed to accelerating progress in prostate cancer research and care. The evening highlighted the work of the Institute for Prostate Cancer Research (IPCR), a collaboration between Fred Hutch and UW Medicine, and raised critical support to help fuel a future where treatments are guided not just by stage, but by the biology of each patient’s disease.
Guests heard from IPCR leaders Pete Nelson, MD, and Dan Lin, MD, as well as Fred Hutch President and Director Thomas J. Lynch, Jr., MD. Travel writer and prostate cancer advocate Rick Steves shared his own story — from diagnosis to recovery — underscoring the importance of science, care, and compassion.
Together, attendees raised more than $4.1 million to help advance the next generation of prostate cancer research breakthroughs.
