Making a Connection

Many of our fellows and faculty talk about a special connection that they felt as they learned about our program, people, and city. Since we can't make those connections in person this year, a few of our leaders, faculty who trained here, and current fellows shared what they think is special about where we live and work.

Dr. Johnnie José Orozco, Assistant Professor and a graduate of our program, discusses diversity, equity and inclusion.
Our leaders and faculty shared a little bit of what they love about living here. It's no surprise that the beauty of our surroundings is a common theme.
Dr. Jan Abkowitz, head of UW Hematology, describes our approach to training, which fosters a breadth of interests and goals.
Dr. Mike Linenberger, our program director, encapsulates our mission.
Dr. Anna Halpern, a graduate of our program and current faculty member, describes what clinical training is like here.
Dr. Nancy Davidson, head of Medical Oncology at the UW and director of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance describes how we connect our graduates to a network of leaders.
