We have an Executive Steering Committee, Faculty Committee and Advisory Committee guiding and advising our efforts.
The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Steering Committee oversees and guides the strategic and operational activities of the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI). It is responsible for ensuring the ODEI ‘s integration and coordination of a holistic diversity, equity and inclusion strategic plan that encompasses scientific and faculty-oriented elements and administrative and staff-oriented elements and that the ODEI will promotes the communication and coordination of its activities, programs and initiatives among multiple institutional stakeholders.

The Faculty Committee on Diversity & Inclusion is comprised of both senior and junior faculty members who represent each of the scientific divisions at Fred Hutch.
The ODEI Advisory Committee is responsible for advising the ODEI on engagement strategy, assisting the ODEI in coordinating and synergizing the efforts, activities and initiatives of the ODEI across the institution, and enabling institutional stakeholders to jointly pursue opportunities to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at the institution. In addition, the DEI Advisory Committee will discharge such other duties or responsibilities as may be delegated to the ODEI Advisory Committee by the ODEI Executive Steering Committee.
