A Positive Outlook and Cancer Recovery

Resilience is a person's ability to maintain physical and emotional well-being in a challenging situation. A recent study shows that people with more flexible and optimistic outlooks have better coping strategies that help during cancer treatment and recovery. This paves the way for training healthcare professionals to teach these skills to patients as part of the post-transplant survivorship process.
