Long-Term Follow-Up

Oral Photography Instructions

If you have changes in your mouth that might be from Graft-Versus-Host Disease or another post-transplant problem, the Clinical Long-Term Follow-Up team will ask you to send them photos of your mouth.  If you live near the SCCA, these photos can help the team decide how quickly to see you in LTFU clinic, and if you live far away and cannot come for a visit, these photos will help the team make a plan with your local doctor about treatment.  Oral photos can be hard to take, but are so important for a good diagnosis and treatment plan.

Please click on these links for instructions on how to take and send good photos to LTFU. The brochure and short video (about 3 minutes) below contain the same helpful information about taking oral photographs.
