If you have transplant-related questions that can't be answered by your personal doctor or if you and your doctor have determined that consultation from Long-Term Follow-up (LTFU) is needed, we are here to help. To reach us Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m. (pacific time) call (206) 667-4415. A voicemail system is available for calls after hours, but callers with emergencies after hours should call (206) 606-7600 and ask to speak to the charge nurse.
Calls are assigned priority according to medical urgency and the order in which they are received. In many cases, LTFU may need to contact your doctor for further information or to coordinate necessary care. Complex problems not requiring an immediate response may be discussed at LTFU Telemedicine Rounds held three times a week. In general, most calls receive a response within 48 hours. But please be aware that the response time depends on the volume and nature of the calls received. At times there may be a delay in responding to less urgent problems.
