October promotions benefit breast cancer research

For the 10th year, FAT bastard wine will donate a portion of sales to Fred Hutch; more companies are joining the list-with products for you, proceeds for Center science

For the 10th consecutive year, when you buy a bottle of FAT bastard wine, a portion of the proceeds will benefit breast cancer patients, awareness and research, including the work of the Hutchinson Center.

This month is filled with opportunities to make personal purchases that also benefit the Hutchinson Center's breast cancer research. For the 10th consecutive year, when you buy a bottle of FAT bastard wine, a portion of the proceeds will benefit breast cancer patients, awareness and research, including the work of the Center. The wine company will donate 25 cents for every bottle sold in a restaurant or retail store through the end of October.

Need a new car? If you are in the market for a new car, consider a purchase from Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. The company will donate $50 to breast cancer research at the Center for every new or used vehicle sold this month.

Looking for environmentally friendly beauty products? All month, purchases of Global Goddess beauty products will benefit breast cancer research at the Center. For every sale from its makeup and skin care line, Global Goddess will donate 20 percent of proceeds to the Center.
