In his Feb. 11 TED talk, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center researcher Dr. Mark Roth spoke about his research and the promise of suspended animation technology to buy time for cardiac and trauma patients and take the “emergency” out of emergency medicine. He received a standing ovation.

Video: Experience The Ride to Conquer Cancer

Center cyclists complete 167-mile trip from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Seattle

More than 1,700 bicycle riders participated in The Ride to Conquer Cancer June 20-21 from Vancouver, B.C., to Seattle. Funds raised from the 37 U.S. riders will go to the Canary Foundation to support early cancer detection research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
