Lynne Kornblatt knows firsthand the urgent need for new and better treatments and cures for cancer. Early in her career she worked as a nurse; later she lost her partner of 17 years to cancer. Now Kornblatt, who is also a lawyer, is bringing her unique expertise to Fred Hutch and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance as the new vice president and chief human resources officer.
