HICOR’s Value in Cancer Care Summit tackles skyrocketing costs, financial toxicity, balancing cost with the right care and more

About 200 patients, payers, providers and policymakers gathered with Fred Hutch researchers April 7 to discuss ways to bump value and bring down costs of cancer care. The day-long event marked the fourth Value in Cancer Care Summit, sponsored by the Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research.
Recent notable accomplishments: Dr. Mario Kratz receives $1M grant to study link between high-fat dairy and prevention of metabolic syndrome; Dr. Scott Ramsey pens editorial about factors behind the high cost of cancer drugs
