Cross-border collaboration compared findings in British Columbia and Washington state

In a rare comparison of cancer care in neighboring regions of the U.S. and Canada, a new study found Americans were paying twice as much for similar colorectal cancer treatments, with no advantage in survival rates.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is an international cycling event to benefit cancer research. Funds raised by participants from the U.S. will go to the San Francisco-based Canary Foundation to support early cancer-detection research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
