Epidemiology

Epidemiology is the study of disease distribution in human populations and examination of disease origin and prevention. VIDD includes a wide range of research groups who strive to advance our knowledge of epidemiologic challenges and improve our ability to lessen global disease burden. Our faculty interests include diverse research topics and work toward a collective goal, namely to understand and address local and global health issues.
