Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division
VIDD scientists integrate clinical care, computational methods and basic research to reduce the global burden of infectious diseases. Our diverse faculty utilize these three approaches to interweave and create translational science that goes from the bench to bedside. We provide a broad range of research in many areas of biomedical science and attract talented and ambitious scientists dedicated to improving human health.
The HVTN Director of Communications and Community Engagement is responsible for oversight of all network communications and community engagement functions, promoting the work of the network, ensuring input of community concerns into the research agenda, facilitating community outreach needs, recruitment and education in support of participant enrollment into HVTN clinical trials.
VIDD is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Member or Associate Member level in the Physician/Scientist pathway. The individual will be expected to develop his or her own independent laboratory research program focused on microbial communities and their impact on health and disease.
