Denise A. Galloway, PhD

Director, Pathogen Associated Malignancies IRC

Associate Director, Human Biology

Nearly 20% of the world's cancers are caused by pathogens, mostly viruses. Additionally, the microbiome likely contributes to the growth of cancers and the response to therapy. By studying the host/pathogen interactions, our goal is to prevent, diagnose and treat these cancers. Join us for a discussion with Dr. Denise Galloway, Director of the newly formed Pathogen Associated Malignancies Integrated Research Center (PAM-IRC) on HPVs and beyond.

Lectures are held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month. Get Fred Hutch visitor information or download a map of the Fred Hutch campus.
