Dr. Lee’s lab studies the molecular, cellular, and genetic determinants of advanced prostate cancer. The primary goal of his research is to identify vulnerabilities for therapeutic exploitation to enhance and extend life for patients with late-stage prostate cancer. His focus is on modeling subtypes of castration-resistant prostate cancer with mouse and human prostate epithelial transformation systems; characterizing prostate cancer surface antigens for active translation to antibody- and cell-based therapies; and developing strategies to disrupt androgen receptor (AR) and Myc protein stability in prostate cancer.
