Vitamin D, Diet and Activity Study

The Fred Hutch has finished recruitment for the Vitamin D, Diet, and Activity (ViDA).

The Vitamin D, Diet and Activity (ViDA) Study is being conducted to determine whether Vitamin D can help decrease breast cancer risk by reducing body fat or decreasing weight gain. We want to test whether vitamin D supplementation will affect weight loss achieved by diet, exercise, and/or other breast cancer risk factors in overweight and obese postmenopausal women. Susan G. Komen for the CureĀ® has given funds to support this research.
