Cost Effectiveness Analysis of Stem Cell Transplant in Older MDS Patients

This project will assess differences in the cost and quality of life provided by alternative treatment strategies for patients aged 50 to 75 with myelodysplastic syndrome by conducting an ancillary study alongside The Bone marrow Transplant (BMT) Clinical Trials Network (CTN) study investigating the use of allogeneic stem cell transplant versus hypomethylating agents.
