Science Education Partnership
Are you a secondary science teacher in Washington State? Are you interested in learning more about molecular biology and how you can bring cutting-edge life science research into your classroom? Would you like to develop connections with researchers at Fred Hutch as well as with other teachers in your community?
If so, we invite you to join us! Our year-long program includes a 13-day summer session where you will work closely with other educators, SEP staff, and scientist mentors. You’ll gain skills and expertise in molecular biology and become familiar with scientific practices through working directly in a scientist’s lab. You’ll also have time and support to develop a curriculum project to take back to your classroom. Our kit loan program provides equipment and supplies to engage your students with current biology through hands-on lab activities during the school year.
