WHO can join
- Graduate students, postdocs, fellows, staff scientists, technicians, and faculty are eligible.
- HU is an inclusive group and supports the Fred Hutch diversity statement developed by the Diversity Council: “[We] are committed to diversity in the broadest sense, including all races/ethnicities, genders, ages, national origins, physical abilities, sexual orientations and other personal characteristics, approaches, beliefs and backgrounds”.
What does it mean to be a Hutch United Member?
HU members have access to our dedicated mentors in the HU Mentoring Network (HUMN) and can request to be paired with a mentor for career advice.
Our members can gain leadership experience by volunteering for organizing committees to plan and run various Hutch United events.
- Members are also eligible to apply for HU Course and Travel Scholarships, which are offered several times each year, and for the HU Fellowship.
HOW to join
Current FHCRC scientists (technicians, students, postdocs, faculty, and other staff) can find information about joining Hutch United on our internal CenterNet site.
