Kelly Lee

The Lee lab's work is focused on understanding the structure and function of membrane fusion proteins in enveloped viruses including influenza, paramyxoviruses, and HIV. We use a variety of biophysical and structural biology techniques to image the structure and structural dynamics of influenza hemagglutinin and HIV Env and to understand the interaction of these glycoproteins with receptors, antibodies, and small molecule compounds that may form the basis for novel antiviral therapeutics.
